The FEYNLAB® HYDRO Marine System is expertly designed to combat the harsh conditions faced by fresh water and seafaring watercraft. Compatible with both painted and gel-coat finishes, the HYDRO system’s primary function is to stop oxidation dead in its tracks. When applied to surfaces, HYDRO’s smart nano particles provide intense UV protection through ultra-efficient UV ray scattering, ensuring long-lasting durability against the elements. These key functional aspects work perfectly together to enhance your boat’s performance.
By preventing oxidation and UV damage to gel coat and painted surfaces, FEYNLAB® HYDRO effectively eliminates the unsightly and damaging yellow, chalky, and powdery surface effects caused by sun and seawater exposure. The System creates hydrophobic surfaces, allowing water and contaminants to quickly release, which drastically speeds up rinse-downs after use, making general cleaning super-fast and easy. (This is most effective when the watercraft is dry docked, as prolonged exposure to water may require anti-fouling agents below the waterline.)
The hydrophobic properties of HYDRO also help decrease water drag when applied below the waterline, and application to propellers may aid in reduced fuel consumption. Please note that HYDRO is not an anti-fouling agent and should only be used above the waterline for watercraft spending long periods in the water.
