FEYNLAB® was founded by two visionaries, John Suerth and Philip Coetzee, who shared a passion for innovation and excellence in the field of ceramic coatings. John, a pioneer in the development of automotive paint systems, is regarded as the inventor of ceramic coatings for automotive paint systems. Philip, on the other hand, was researching nano coatings and air friction reduction coatings for his thesis when he crossed paths with John.
JOINING FORCES TO CREATE FEYNLAB - CERAMIC COATINGS MEET NANOTECHNOLOGY
As John mentored Philip through his project, the two discovered their complementary skills and decided to join forces in creating a new venture – Feynlab. The company initially focused on supporting John’s existing private label customers while developing their own range of exceptional products.

Over the years, FEYNLAB® has grown organically to become the third-largest automotive ceramic coating manufacturer. As the only fully vertically integrated company in the US, we take pride in manufacturing our coatings from scratch using our reactors, bottling and packaging our products, and marketing directly to installers, distributors, and end customers.
